4 Fireworks Viewing Spots for July 4th in New York

Multiple firework displays are set to illuminate the skies in and around New York City this 4th of July. The 47th annual Macy's celebration will feature 60,000 shells launched from five barges in the East River. The Macy's festivities begin at 8 p.m. with live music, followed by a 25-minute fireworks display at around 9:25 p.m. This year's show will showcase new effects, averaging 2,400 shells and effects per minute. While smoke from Canadian wildfires may impact the events, several shows are still planned. Here are 4 favorites to watch!
