10 Women Owned Hotspots in Los Angeles

March is Women's History Month, with International Women's Day on the 8th of March. Los Angeles is home to many eateries and hotspots owned and operated by women that Los Angelians can savor and support all month, and all year long. Here are our favorite spots in the City of Angels, Los Angeles for the season.


Leanne Pietrasinski left a teaching credential program to study macarons, and ended up opening a macaron shop with her husband Pawel Pietrasinski. The expertly crafted macarons feature seasonal collections and cute characters that change all the time to celebrate joyous holidays all year round.

Ronan is a seasonal share plates restaurant owned and operated by Caitlin Cutler and her husband Chef Daniel Cutler. The menu features local produce, responsibly raised proteins, and Neapolitan pizza. Ronan has a full bar of craft cocktails as well as a curated, rotating selection of natural and biodynamic wines.


Vegan comfort food at it's best. The entire plant based favorite has accompaniments like raw chocolate truffles, brownie sundaes, and savory vegan options from smashed avocado toast to cashew cheese nachos. Founder and Chef, Mollie Engelhart, has a passion for gardening, food, animals and the environment, resulting in her extremely successful documentary, May I Be Frank.

Chef Antonia Lofaso’s interpretation of old-school Italian food reminds us of the home we left in the boroughs of New York. As a past contestant of Top Chef she has Italian fare with an emphasis on fresh ingredients like antipasti, spaghetti and meatballs, and veal chop milanese.
