10 of the Best Cafes for Instagram & TikTok in Los Angeles

The thing about waking up in California is, you are one of the last time zones in the world! Here are a few of our favorite spots to get your morning jolt of tea or coffee in Los Angeles before catching up with what the planet is up to. And given that LA is the Instagram and TikTok capital in the world with a host of walls, foods and murals made just for social media, get your fix with us.

Alfred
@alfred
@alfredtea
Instagrammable decor with quirky signage reading 'Tea Yes, You Maybe', the lattes and tea here are a solid punch and come in flavorful varieties.

@bbcmcafe
With a peculiarly hysterical name, this spot has everything from breakfast to dinner with European influences. However, their colorful cappuccinos hit the art ball out of the park for prettiest lattes ever spotted!

Carrera Cafe
@carreracafe
Relax in a European styled contemporary, minimalist cafe with diabolical designs on signature lattes with quotable quotes and even faces printed to pose against Instagrammable wall art (think floral covered ivy wallpaper). Right opposite Paul Smith's great wall of pink too.

Cha Cha Matcha
With a plethora of locations, the one we think is best is the one in Beverly Hills, with huge neon signs, ample space to sit outside, including floral and bamboo style seating options... plus of course, blue algae and matcha lattes, and so, so many more.
Women owned and led, Coffee for Sasquatch has natural light and clean design elements serving Ritual Coffee brand and extremely colorful drinks like the Cryptid latte or the Liverpool latte.
@dinosaur_coffee
Because who doesn't love dinosaurs? A line drawing of a Stegosaurus with Jurassic Park style designs and interiors molded like the magnificent beasts by MASS Architecture and Design, with woodwork designed by Ryan Upton. It serves coffee from San Francisco’s Four Barrel Coffee Roasters in ceramic vessels by Professor Nobuhitu Nishigawara.

Eightfold Coffee is one of our favorite minimalist cafes with paintings by local artist Cindy Hsu Zell and florals by Fibers & Florals.  Clean, airy, bright and pretty, the strong coffee is served in stoneware clay mugs which are also hand-painted!

This magician and witch themed coffeehouse is Harry Potter inspired. They carry matcha, coffee, vegan milkshakes, pastries and an unmistakeable vibe that mandates capes and wands. Their turmeric beet latte called Liquid Love, for a reason. Step into a wonderland of magic.

A neon sign proclaiming "You Can Sip With Us" invites you to a haven of seasonally tasty lattes, including one with Cinnamon toast crunch, and a signature turmeric latte. Come indulge for coffee, community and vibes. And of course, Instagram and TikTok.

@rubiesanddiamondsla
With a sign proclaiming that it's #NotAJewelryStore, this spot has nitro flights, pink walls, dramatic modernist chandeliers and sleek couches to make it a sleek, luscious cafe.
